Business Consulting built on real experience

We started this firm because too many consultancies hand over a report and disappear. Our approach is different. We stay until the changes are working, the team understands the new process, and the numbers prove the improvement is real. That commitment comes from the fact that every person on our team has run or managed a business themselves before joining us.

Based in Little Champlinwell, Wales, we work with companies across the UK, typically those with 10 to 250 employees who have outgrown their original way of doing things and need a clear path to the next stage.

How we got here

The firm was founded in 2017 by two people who had spent a combined 28 years inside operational roles: one in food manufacturing, the other in financial services. Both had hired external consultants at various points and both had been frustrated by the same pattern. The consultant would arrive, interview staff for a day, produce a 60-page report full of theory, invoice for it, and leave. Implementation was somebody else's problem.

So we set a rule from day one: no engagement ends at the report stage. Every project includes at least two weeks of hands-on support while the client puts recommendations into practice. If something in the plan does not work when it meets reality, we fix it on the spot rather than charging for a follow-up engagement.

That approach has shaped everything about the business. We keep the team small on purpose, because we want every consultant to have direct contact with the client rather than delegating to junior analysts. At any given time we take on no more than six active projects so that each one gets proper attention.

Inside our consulting office

By 2020 we had completed over 70 projects. The majority of our new work now comes from referrals: a client mentions us to a supplier, a former colleague, or a fellow business owner at a trade event. We do not run paid advertising. The work speaks for itself, and we prefer it that way.

Mission and values

Our mission is straightforward: help UK businesses make better decisions with clearer data, then stick around until those decisions produce results.

Honesty about scope

If a problem is outside our expertise we say so and recommend someone who can help. We have turned down projects where we knew the client needed a specialist tax adviser or an employment lawyer rather than a general consultant.

Numbers first

Every recommendation we make is tied to a financial estimate: how much it will cost to implement, how long before the benefit appears, and what the expected return looks like over 12 months. Clients can hold us to those figures.

Plain language

Our reports use short sentences and concrete examples. If a warehouse manager or a shop-floor supervisor cannot understand the document, we rewrite it until they can.

Respect for the team already there

The people inside a business usually know what is broken. They just lack the time or authority to fix it. We listen to them first, validate their observations with data, and then give them the backing they need to make changes.
